Mubi Partnership Celebration held Sunday, March 8
On Sunday, March 8, our special guest was our friend Pastor Sekenwa Briska and a newly arrived student at Luther Seminary from Nigeria, Pastor Buntausa Amos. Pastor Buntausa Amos has most recently been teaching at Bronnum Seminary, the seminary which trains pastors for the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria. Pastor Amos will be working on his Master’s Degree at Luther Seminary. Pastor Sekenwa is progressing toward getting his PhD in Pastoral Care.
We are fortunate to have them in our community and are looking forward to their visit to First Lutheran. The two Nigerian pastors will bring us greetings from Nigeria and an update on our partner church in Mubi, Nigeria with news of the work in the outreach areas. The two Nigerian pastors will also be leading the Adult Forum that day.
