While First Lutheran Church of Crystal cares about the privacy of our congregational members, we operate this web site with the understanding that it is public platform. Once information is posted, it is released into a wide domain over which we have very little control. We will handle all emails received with utmost care.

Register.com, the company that hosts this Web site, collects the IP address of each visitor's Internet service provider. This is standard practice for all Web sites that Register.com hosts.
Email communications
First Lutheran Church of Crystal does not sell, share, or rent any email addresses or personal information it receives through this Web site. If you contact First Lutheran Church of Crystal by email for more information, we will respond back to you via the email address provided. We will not add your email address to a distribution lists without your permission.
Congregational information
In order to perform duties, the staff and volunteers of First Lutheran Church of Crystal have access to personal information and email addresses of congregation members on a need-to-know basis. Besides the following exceptions, none of this information is published on this Web site unless specifically requested by a member. No names, email addresses or phone numbers are listed for youth.
Exceptions
Names of staff members, email and office phone numbers are listed so that they may be reached by people through normal office channels. The names of adults who are a contact for a group or activity at church along with email addresses if provided. Home phone numbers will not be listed as it is assumed that our members have a church directory or may call the church office.
First Lutheran Church of Crystal provides a printed member and ministry directory with names, addresses, email, which is only available to its members. To request a copy or add your information to this directory, contact the office by sending an email.
Photographs
First Lutheran Church of Crystal does not display identifiable photographs of people on our Web site (or in any of our publications distributed to the general public) unless a release form has been signed by the person(s) appearing in the photograph. Photographs of children are not published unless a similar release has been signed by a parent or legal guardian.
