Education hour is available on Sunday mornings for children
pre-kindergarten through grade 5.

Sunday School

Children’s Church is a new option that will be available this year at First for students who are too old for the nursery but who have a hard time making it through the entire church service. These students will be participating in fun, informal activities lead by high-schoolers from the congregation and supe rvised by adults in order to allow their parents to fully engage in worship.

As part of our Sunday School program, we will be encouraging families to keep their children in worship through the Children’s sermon. If at that time, the family needs to leave for other obligations, we understand. Of course, as always, children are always welcome to stay and participate with their families for the entire worship service! We are simply offering several options because we realize that different families have different needs.

Bibles

Each year three-year-olds and third grade students receive Bibles that are put to good use during Sunday School classes.

Children’s Music

Alleluia Ringers

Open to students in grades 3-6. Make music as a group by ringing the chimes and playing rhythm instruments. There is lots of good music is planned! Check out a rehearsal to see what it’s about. Come join the fun!
