Chancel Choir
Open to ages Jr. High and above who like to sing and are willing to share their time and talent each week. If you'd like to participate, there are no try-outs, only the ability to sing in key and blend your voice with the choir. The ability to read music is not required.
The Chancel Choir rehearses on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m, from September through May. They assist in leading worship and provide special anthems at the 10:00 a.m. worship service three Sundays of each month (September through Memorial Day). Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday they sing at both the 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. services. They also provide music for Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
In addition, we present a Christmas concert during Advent and celebrate Music Sunday in May. These concerts include all the music makers at First Lutheran. The Chancel Choir schedule begins the first week in September and continues through the week before Memorial Day weekend.

Kid’s Church
The first Sunday of each month
(no Sunday school).
Children stay with their parents
through the children’s message.
